Dos Picos County Park

Spent one night camping at Dos Picos County Park. Very clean and quiet park with full facilities for camping. Got up early in the morning and walked around nearby farms. Peaceful and enjoyable.

Hole in the Wall and Kelso Dunes

About 4hrs drive on I-15 and then I-40, on the north of I-40, is the Mojave National Preserve Park. The camping ground at Hole in the Wall was a nice one, but the wind during the night was too strong to have a good sleep.

Kelso Dunes is about 40miles from Hole in the Wall camping ground. The sand dunes is more than 400ft tall. It didn't seem that difficult to get to the top, but it was very tough.
